Dear friends and fans of the Ocean Born Muse project,

It has been nearly five years since I commenced work on Ocean Born Muse, and it has changed me in more ways than I can easily count or imagine. The music I have created with this project, and the things I have accomplished with it, has come to represent some of the most important parts of myself, and it always will.

As some of you know, classical music was one of my first loves when it came to my training, and it is time for me to return to the pursuit of that arena of music. Although I intend at some point to return to creating dark and ambient sounds with Ocean Born Muse, I want to try something new, and further explore my adoration of orchestral music.

While I will be beginning with fairly simple classically-inspired compositions, I would eventually also like to explore the world of symphonic and gothic metal. The project, entitled Seeds of Atropos, is still in its infant stages, however, and I want to hone my own skills as a composer throughout the next few years before plunging headlong into forming an ensemble and playing live and touring. Still, I have very good ideas about where I want the project to go and how I want to manage it, and having goals in mind is helping to guide my hand when it comes to the songs I am composing for the first album from Seeds, Season of Hope.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your incredible and unfailing support of Ocean Born Muse thus far, and I hope to see more of you through the next few years, as I intend to go on performing material I've composed thus far in live venues, at least for awhile. Although the will is vitally important to creating music, I truly mean it when I say that I could not have gone this far as a musician without your love, help, and support. Each and every one of you is special, because you have touched and inspired my life and music and, in some cases, pressed me even further on.

I am looking for musicians to feature on the album or contribute compositionally to Seeds of Atropos at this time, however, so if you are interested in contributing, please feel free to send me an email with your ideas and/or some of your work - I would love to hear what you have to say and play! For inquiries about Seeds of Atropos, please send an email to seedsofatropos@gmail.com.

See you on the stage, on the road, and everywhere in between!

Love always,
Muse en Lystrala
