Ocean Born Muse is best described as a dark ambient electronica project with contemporary and classical vocals. Begun in 2005 as the Terpsichore X Project, Ocean Born Muse has traveled all over the United States since then gathering inspiration for her music. Her career as an independent solo performance artist is fairly fresh off the ground, but is backed by more than twenty years of both solo and group performance on the stage.
To date, she has produced the following fully independent musical works: Divine Technology, Vindication, the Temple of Madness EP, The Cold Blue Twilight. An all a capella release, The Absence of Machina, was released in December 2009, and a poetry/songbook entitled The Celestial Nine was released digitally in September 2009. The Celestial Nine, Angelsong, and a ZIP archive of selected songs can be downloaded in Extras.
Muse writes for the goth culture magazine Nocturnal, and serves as captain for the Bella Morte Street Team.
